17th Century Unique Venetian Glass Tazza
A little 17th century Venetian glass tazza; approx 1 1/2 inches tall and 6 inches in diameter; made with grey cristallo glass decorated with 15 white ‘retorti a penne’ combed twists, and with a yellow rim. The use of yellow in Venetian glass is extremely rare and this example where it is combined with white ‘a penne’ decoration may well be unique.
