“…. as one small candle may light a thousand, so the light here kindled hath shown unto many; yea, in some sort to our whole nation” – William Bradford, Governor of Plymouth Colony, 1630

With our vigorous research into this period, the seed was sown, how fitting but to name ourselves MAYFLOWER ANTIQUES. For us it is the period, not the material, this is why we are quite unique.

Christopher Hamlyn is based in Worcestershire, UK.

We do not incur the overheads of a shop, instead our shop front is a first class website, where international enquiries are continually placed.

Since Mayflower Antiques has been trading, we have been exhibiting in both Provincial and London fairs, networking on Social Media and developing our website, which we pride ourselves on the design and the professional photography.

We work along side “The Antique Marketing Company” and “Fellows Photographic Services”, enabling us to reach a standard befitting our pieces.

We continue to research in depth, all of our pieces have been vetted, as our reputation and integrity are of paramount importance to us.

We are now entering the European and Overseas markets, talking to personal collectors and museums in the UK, Europe and the USA.

Mayflower Antiques is a member of LAPADA, CINOA, CADA and >2Covet

The market for the 16th and 17th century pieces remains a challenge, this unique period of history is so fascinating.

We look forward to talking to you abut our very special pieces.
