Description
A Rock Crystal Flask with Silver Gilt Mounts and Chain; 16th century, Italian; probably Florence or Venice.
Each side of the rock crystal is reverse painted, with, on the one side, a scene of Christ praying in
the Garden of Gethsemane; the other side with Christ carrying the cross.
The height of the piece excluding the chain is 6.6 cm.
